Rainfall Characteristics for Irrigation of Pauh, Padang, West Sumatera Area for Irrigation

Abstract Rainfall data for Pauh area is evaluated to determine irrigation needs plants. Precipitation 2021 collected by the WeatherHawk Signature weather station every 20 minutes. Then hourly, daily and monthly rainfall calculated. Monthly quite high with an average of 566 mm. However, not evenly distributed throughout year. In each month distribution also uneven. Several days very heavy consecutive without rain are long 7 days. Even longest reaches 16 From this evaluation it was concluded that sprinkler or micro necessary maintain crop productivity.
